Is a magnetic disc sequential programmer which controls the IME: 86S electronic calculator. lt is used where program length exceeds 32 steps or where more program flexibility is desired.
The Digicorder provides a capacity of up to 3.000 individual steps.
Constant factors can also be entered on to the magnetic disc from
the keyboard of the calculator to be called out at ‘he appropriate
point of a program.
The operation of the Digicorder is very simple.
Position the master switch on the Digicorder to the 'program'-mode
and actually perform the problem on the keyboard of the calculator.
When the problem is completed, the master switch is put in the 'compute'-mode.
To start the program, just touch the [RC]-key on the keyboard of the calculator.
The Digicorder automatically locates the start of your program. Stop codes in the program as well as a code for looping or finding the beginning of the program automatically are generated from the keyboard of the Digicorder.
The ease of programming and the versatility and the speed of this system truly
make the IME:86S a desk top computer.
